Music Mix / 07.16

Since I shared my last playlist, mother earth has given us three seasons. (Sorry!)

Here’s some notable things I’ve done since (which I’m hoping can explain why I’ve failed to post music lately):

• I taught design and illustration at Sheridan
• I wrote 200 blog posts (some here, but most on Design*Sponge)
• Somewhere in between those two I went on vacation and got engaged
• I illustrated and designed for various clients from The Globe and Mail and Chatelaine, to Anomaly and Freshbooks
• I became a guest judge on W Network’s Game of Homes…
• I signed on to be a co-host and designer on a new HGTV show (!!!)

Life has been catching me by surprise, so I hope you can forgive me for not sharing a playlist sooner. And excuses aside, if I’m being honest I also haven’t been listening to a heck of a lot of new music.

This all said,  for the past month, I’ve hopped back on the bandwagon and caught up with the latest, as they say. So today I’m finally sharing with you the songs that have stolen my heart lately.
