Piper’s Top 100
The past 365 days of Piper’s life has undoubtedly been her best.
Moving here greatly improved our quality of life, but the real winner is everyone’s favourite blue heeler border collie mix pup, Piper who turns five tomorrow. So today to celebrate the last day of 2019, I’ve rounded up 100 of my favourite photos of my sweet baby girl, Piper! Happy Birthday sweet P.
↳ Probably the coolest moment of the past year was when we took a helicopter to Lake Lovely Water, making Piper the second dog in history to ever make the trip. How adorable are her mutt-muffs for flying <3
↳ Proudly keeping watch over her domaine at the Squamish Estuary.
↳ On the edge of the world at the Murrin Park lookout.
↳ One of our favourite hiking spots is this little stretch of woods that feels like the set fo Jurassic Park.
↳ Whenever we can’t find Piper, the first spot we look is around the Jeep (or on it, in this case). She’s always up for an adventure, but she also loves sleeping in it for whatever reason! Sometimes we let her have a nap in the back during a regular day while it’s parked in the driveway, haha.
↳ Exactly why we haven’t bothered bringing a ball or toy on any of our trips. Can’t beat wild sticks and smells!
↳ A definite highlight of the year was staying in Sir Cedric’s Treehouse in Bellingham, WA.
↳ Piper making pals in Tofino during our Thanksgiving trip to Bella Pacifica.
↳ After a camp trip, she’s always the most well-behaved docile little creature who has no interest in leaving the couch.
↳ Full of personality, sass, dirt and heart.
↳ Despite having just little peg legs, girl can jump.
↳ Piper finding some relief in the cool grass on Dillon Beach, CA.
↳ A day-trip to Della Creek.
↳ Our best travel bud. Always keeping the conversation going on long trips.
↳ Putting on her best display of cuteness in hopes of catching a bite of our shrimp tacos on one of our summer camp trips.
↳ Running the beaches in Olympic National Park, Washington.
↳ Always up for an estuary stroll with pals.
↳ Never not prancing.
↳ That time we camped in an area recently ravaged by forest fires which was experiencing a rebirth with beautiful wildflowers.
↳ Overlooking her home below, taken in the spring at what’s become our go-to camp spot.
↳ Me showing P her new home.
↳ Piper celebrating Canada Day on the beach up on the Elaho River.
↳ She prefers to sleep in the Jeep or the truck, but the odd time when she does join us in the tent, it’s just the sweetest.
Happy Birthday to a pup who’s truly become a life-long companion I can’t imagine having gone through life without! Wish her a Happy Birthday here.
