The Brass Lights We Bought, a Podcast about BioHacking, Art by Amber Vittoria, Ariele Alasko + a Fleece I’ll Be Wearing Year-Round
Boy oh boy, it’s the first time I’ve sat down in-front of my computer in a while! We’ve been happy keeping busy at our house, which we’ve been gutting and re-building since March 4, 2020.
Even though it’s only been a month and a half, we’ve been there daily working hard and doing it all ourselves. With Covid happening, and with us at home with nothing but time and supplies on our hands, we’ve been busting our butts (and our hands are hurting, my goshhhh, hence my need for a day at home working on bills, blog posts, emails and design work). Anyhow, it’s been a lot of hard work. Last night we daydreamed for a minute about a time not so long ago we were getting massages at the Four Seasons for my birthday, or sitting on that beach in Jamaica for his… One day again, soon! For now, we have lots of work to do—so without further ado, here’s the week in a nutshell!
We bought lights!
listed, price high to low:
Raw Brass Ceiling Lights (for the entry and kitchen) – $236
Polished Brass Wall Sconces (for either side of the kitchen window) – $267
Exterior Barn Light (for above the front door) – $87
Spotlights (for the deck) – $53
Smaller Barn Lights (for either side of the garage door)- $56

Just bought this Free People Movement Climb High Fleece from Anthropologie and I can’t wait for it to arrive. I’m gonna live in it!
I love following wood sculptor @ArieleAlasko on Instagram, her work is just beautiful. I’m hoping to commission her for a piece for our new home (AKA Pipers Peak)!
Amber Vittoria’s colourful prints are just so pretty.
The textures are just divine. So inspirational! [photo: @AngelicaCherneko]
P&Co is quickly becoming one of my favourite brands. I want these Service Fatigue Olive Pants so bad!
And last but not least, this is the period podcast episode I was talking about on Instagram the other day: BioHacking Your Hormones with Alisa Vitti
