Over the last month, I’ve set the goal for myself of fitting in at least three solid workout sessions a week, and I’ve stuck to it!
I always forget how good moving my body makes me feel. If I’m in a rut, or a bad head space, the last thing on my mind is “girl, do some lunges,” but it’s also always the solve. Whether it’s going on a walk, getting on my yoga mat, or pumping some weights, physical movement does the body good—and it always surprises me how little time I have to spend to achieve that.
Before covid shut down the world, I was teaching yoga (which definitely kept me fit), but since the studio closed, and since I started taking my thyroid disease a little more seriously, I’ve been in need of some body love. So I took to the ‘gram to find me some new workouts! Below is a roundup of amazing activewear (most are discounted!) as well as all the Instagram accounts I frequent 🙂
Accounts to Follow
I have been following yoga-teacher-turned-overall-fitness-queen Jessica Olie for 5+ years! She has an app, a product line, and in addition to teaching Instagram live classes (both solo and joint classes with other IG-ers like @LisaFiit and @Korey.Rowe), she shares carousel posts with targeted fitness moves and posts her musings on yoga, life and self-love… Speaking of @LisaFiit, she’s another one to follow for fitness.
@WhitneyySimmons is another one who has made it easy for me to work out at home when the feeling strikes. She too has an app, Alive, and she shares quick and easy Follow-Along IGTV videos and fitness grid posts that are easy to tap and swipe through.
@CatMeffan teaches yoga, and her IGTV classes are so great!

Sophie’s (AKA @GainsByBrains) workout videos are short and sweet. I save them and follow along when I’m in the zone.
@MickaelaMundell does home workouts with her dog or items around the house. It’s great for those who are just getting started and might not have lots of gear.

@lexfish’s IGTV videos are perfect if you need motivation and like instructors who ask you to push.
@AloMoves is a yoga, fitness and meditation account. You have to pay, but it’s great
@AmandaBisk‘s whole body workout will make you sweat.
